An Arnold Palmer Signature golf course results from APDC performing the three phases of design service described on the previous pages. Mr. Palmer shares ideas with the staff and we develop them into the overall layout of the course and the details of each hole. Arnold’s involvement may also include promotion of the golf course with a video or site visit and his name and likeness can be used in marketing.

APDC has more than three decades of experience in designing and building golf courses bearing the Arnold Palmer Signature brand. Great golf, professional service and Arnold Palmer distinction are the constants in every Arnold Palmer Signature Course. Moreover we continually strive to improve our design ability whether through contemporary innovation or by studying classic course history.

Many of our Signature courses have been awarded golf magazine rankings over the years, and APDC courses have received environmental design awards in the U.S. and around the world. We have five U.S. Certified Signature Audubon courses, at least three more in the design phase, and multiple Certified Audubon Cooperative Sanctuary courses. Our staff is recognized through its leadership (Board of Trustees of the Environmental Institute of Golf; Advisory Council for Audubon International) and through its work with various regulators (EPA, DNR, and other local jurisdictional agencies) both domestically and internationally.

Arnold Palmer Signature Courses frequently become professional tournament venues. The Ryder Cup was held at Ireland’s K Club in 2006 and the Bob Hope Chrysler Classic and the Arnold Palmer Invitational presented by MasterCard are regular PGA Tour stops on our courses. In fact, in any given year, almost every professional tour holds a tournament on an APDC course.
